What is ‘Flow Nomads’?

If we take a look in the dictionary, Flow means something is moving steadily, continuously.. A river flows. Yet a river is not the only thing that flows. We find Flow throughout life. Life is an ever-changing series of events, continuously, steadily.

A Nomad does not stay in the same place for a long time, travels from place to place. Yet we are not only physically nomadic. The mind may be on the move, searching, loving, creating, weathering a storm, not staying in the same place for a long time, traveling from place to place.

A Flow Nomad is looking for, and spreading happiness in an ever-changing world, with an ever-changing mind. To find Flow in a way that is truly holistic: nourishing body, mind and soul.

Flow Nomads represents a collective of health and wellness professionals, ready to help you improve your physical, mental and emotional well-being.

– Iris Vos‍, Founder Flow Nomads

About Iris: ”I am very passionate about many things. I love sports, I have done sports my whole life. When I was 8 years old I started Judo. I continued all the way to black belt, meanwhile competing at an international level. On that level you learn what Resilience & Perseverance means. Wins and losses are a learning process. I truly believe these years have given me a very powerful Performance Mindset.

To Judo I have later added Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing and MMA. I have trained competitive Muay Thai in Thailand, an unforgettable experience. Aside of Martial Arts I love to hit the weights and get a good CrossFit workout in. Any chance for a good sweat, I will take.

With competitive sports often comes Mindful Eating, that is why already from a young age I learned about what food is, and what food does. Through years of struggle and experimenting with different diets I have found balance, bringing back fun and ease around food. I feel passionate to coach those who are struggling (too), towards a Natural & Sustainable relationship with food.

Through tough times I have learned to love myself, and in turn love others. I have found that no self-quantification, not any awesome gadget or all the money in the world will truly make you happy if you don’t Love Yourself in the first place.

The main take-away from my life’s story, is that I have found health and happiness by fully embracing my true self. I always keep an open mind, keep educating myself and explore the world. I know that you can go from rock-bottom to the top of the world. My wish is to motivate and help as many Flow Nomads on their journey to being true to themselves.

Languages I speak: English, Dutch and Finnish

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
